Marset Olav

The Marset Olav collection of luminaires was designed by Cristian Díez in 1999. This series comprises two luminaires, namely one pendant lamp (Marset Olav) and one ceiling lamp (Marset Olav P). Both lamps are rather simple and they have a geometrical layout. The lampshade is made of blown opal glass and it has a cylindrical shape. Thus, both luminaires may radiate direct as well as diffuse lighting. This means they create a pleasantly warm light not being loud or dazzling. The diffuser consists of silver-grey metal to which Cristian Díez gave a funnel-shaped look. The lampshade of the Marset Olav and that of the Marset Olav P is 15 cm in diameter. Besides, the lampshade of the Olav has a total height of 20 cm while the lampshade of the Olav P is 15 cm high. The total height of the Marset Olav P, however, is 20 cm as well.
