The Escale Medusa pendant lamp was created in 2008 by Mosru Mohiuddin. The light body is made of smoothed aluminum and has a length of 120 cm. Six shades, which are coated with gold leaf, serve as reflectors at the lower end of the rod-shaped body. Each shade has a diameter of 16 cm.
The Medusa pendant lamp hangs on two cables and is hanged up to 140 cm long. If necessary, the cables can also be cut easily. The canopy of smoothed aluminum is 50 cm long, 4 cm high and 10 cm wide. Six LEDs, each with an output of 3.2 watts are integrated. An on-site dimming is possible. Both a Casambi and a ZigBee module are available as accessories. With the Casambi module, the pendant lamp can be regulated by Smartphone/Tablet using the Casambi App via Bluetooth. With an integrated ZigBee module, voice control of the light is possible.
