The shades of all the lamps in the Gea collection by Arturo Alvarez are made of a painted stainless steel mesh, available in several colours. This stainless steel metal mesh is a translucent and flexible metal mesh, which is then molded to give it the desired shape and structure. Arturo Alvarez received the Good Design Award in 2007 for the design of these lamps.
