Domus Floyd

The lamp series Floyd by the German manufacturer Domus consists of three extravagant pendant lamps with a diffuser made of Lunopal. The pendant lamps of the Domus Floyd series, which are based on the shape of an oloid, amaze with the incomprehensibility of their geometric form. The oloid is a geometric body that was discovered in 1929 by the sculptor and mechanical engineer Paul Schatz. It has properties that clearly distinguish it from other bodies. You walk around the Floyd pendant lamp in amazement, discovering a different lamp every time. The geometry hidden behind it can at best be guessed at.
