Foscarini Circus wall and ceiling lights

The Foscarini Circus collection comprises a total of two ceiling lights, both of which can also be used as wall lamps. In 1994, Defne Koz designed the two lamps of different sizes. The Foscarini Circus 07 Grande has a diameter of 46 cm at a height of 13 cm, while the Piccola has a diameter of 32 cm and a height of 12 cm. The surface is a glossy white in both sizes. Both lamps from this series are made of shiny, hand-blown glass, which is shaped into a circular shade with a recess in the middle. In this recess, there is inserted a nickel-plated metal element, which Foscarini describes as a "button". It serves as a holder for the lamps. The socket is made of metal which is coated with epoxy powder. Halogen lamps or compact fluorescent lamps are suitable as bulbs for both lamps, four of which are required. The glossy surface of the shades provides light reflections.
