Foscarini Ellepi wall light and ceiling light
The Foscarini Ellepi Parete Soffitto is a wall light that can be used just as well as ceiling light like many Foscarini lamps. In both cases, it is ideal for illuminating corridors due to its narrow shape and low height. It has a diameter of 74 cm and a height of 6.5 cm. A fluorescent tube with a maximum power of 55 watts is used in the wall and ceiling light. It creates a pleasant, glare-free and diffuse ambient light. The diffuser is made of matt white methacrylate as well as the ceiling or wall holder made of metal powder coated with epoxy powder. The central, inner ring is made of opal polycarbonate. Alessandra Matilde created the lamp in the year 2003 for the Italian lighting manufacturer. The name comes from the Italian abbreviation for "long playing", since the diffuser in its form should remind of a record.
