Tynell

The GUBI Tynell light collection comprises a floor lamp, a table lamp, a wall lamp and two pendant lamps. All lamps of this series were created between 1938 and 1947 by the Finnish designer Paavo Tynell. The 9602 Floor Lamp has a light rod wrapped in rattan. Its lamp shade is made of white linen or wicker willow. The floor lamp is operated via an on/off switch on the light rod. Both the lamp base and the top of the lamp shade are made of brass. The lamp shade and the lamp base of the 5321 Table Lamp have the surface polished brass. The on/off switch of this lamp is located on the lamp shade. The 9464 Wall Lamp has a curved brass lamp shade with perforated two-point pattern. This lamp can be connected via a power cable independently of the power supply or directly without a cable. This series includes both a height-adjustable pendant lamp with shortenable cable, the 1965 Pendant, and a height-adjustable pendant lamp with counterweight, the A1965 Pendant. The shade of both pendant lamps is perforated with a three-point pattern. Most of the light is emitted directly downwards, only a small part penetrates through the dot pattern.
