Ingo Maurer Delight
The Ingo Maurer Delight collection was designed in 1980 by the designers Frans van Nieuwenborg and Martijn Wegman. The Delight wall lamp is a completely different form of lighting. A lightweight cloth made of heat resistant glass cloth hides a halogen lamp and thus emits a soft, glare-free light in the room. The cloth can always be individually reshape. This creates anew unique light patterns that invite to relax and to be enchanted. In 2006, another fascinating wall lamp, the Santa Maria della Luce was created. The Santa Maria della Luce wall lamp outwardly differs little from the Delight, but it hides a fluorescent lamp under the cloth. The Delight and Santa Maria Della lights are refreshingly different lights from the light manufacturer of Maurer, nevertheless clearly show his handwriting.
