The Luceplan Compendium series consists of a pendant lamp and a floor lamp. Both were created in the year 2014 by Daniel Rybakken. The Compendium Suspension is 163 cm long and is made of anodized aluminum, i. e. by anodic oxidation, an oxide protective layer was produced on the aluminum. The pendant lamp can be hung up differently to emit either direct or indirect light to the ceiling. In both cases, the light emitted is glare-free. The light can be dimmed on site.
The Compendium Floor has a stable, round base in which the lamp can be flexibly rotated. The lamp provides indirect, glare-free light to the wall. A dimmer on the cable is also used as an on / off switch and allows a continuous regulation of the light intensity. The rod of the floor lamp is made of extruded, anodized aluminum and the base is made out of zinc alloy die-casting. Both the floor lamp and the pendant lamp from this series are available in various colour temperatures. They are also offered in the surfaces aluminum, black and brass.
