Marset Maranga

The Marset Maranga collection consists of two pendant lamps, two floor lamps and one ceiling lamp. Christophe Mathieu designed the lamps in 2012 and was inspired by an imaginary, tempting fruit. 32 disc-shaped polycarbonate elements are joined at the top by a chrome-plated metal ring and at the bottom by a diffuser of prismatically engraved polycarbonate to form a lamp shade. The Maranga 32 pendant lamp consists of only 29 elements. The light penetrates glare-free between the polycarbonate elements, creating an interplay of light and dark. The lamps radiate their light directly and glare-free downwards through the diffuser. The lamps of this series can be operated with halogen lamps, LED retrofit lamps or compact fluorescent lamps.
