Marset Olivia

The Marset Olivia collection of luminaires was designed by Joan Gaspar in 2001. This series comprises two pendant lamps being different in their diameters and these are the Marset Olivia 45 and the Marset Olivia 55. The lampshade of the Olivia 45 is 45 cm in diameter and the Olivia 55 has a lampshade of 55 cm diameter. Otherwise, both luminaires are constructed in the same way. Thus, the semi-spherical lampshade consists of hand-blown Murano glass being impervious to light. The internal reflector of the Marset Olivia luminaires is made of metal. As the light can only exit at the bottom, the diffuser of both lamp types is covered with a disc out of white methacrylate to the bottom side to avoid dazzling.
