Description
The Catellani & Smith Macchina della Luce mod. I is a pendant lamp with three superimposed discs made of aluminum. The top disc with 80 cm in diameter is the largest one. The medium-sized disc has a diameter of 50 cm, the lowest one a diameter of 30 cm. All three discs are coated with a smooth foil, available in the surfaces of gold leaf, silver leaf and copper. The discs of the pendant lamp are mounted on metal rods with a maximum length of 145 cm, which can be shortened if necessary. On request, the rods are also offered with a maximum length of 300 cm. For the two versions gold leaf and copper, the rods are made of brass, in the version with silver leaf discs they are nickel-plated. The lowest two discs containing as light sources LED boards. The lamp is on site dimmable and has a total power of 5 x 6 watts.
