The Casambi module 230V is a dimmer for regulating lamps by smartphone or tablet (IOS, Android) via Bluetooth. It is suitable for operating incandescent lamps, dimmable LED lamps and control devices for halogen lamps and LEDs. This Casambi module can be installed in lamp housings, behind wall switches, etc. instead of a trailing edge phase dimmer. It only requires a 3-wire mains cable.
When the Casambi module is installed, compatible lamps can be regulated with the free Casambi app. In this way, the brightness and light colour can be controlled continuously. In addition, individual light scenarios can be set and the lamps can be switched on at specific times via a timer. This device is suitable for a voltage of 220 - 240 volts.
New lamps that are Casambi compatible are automatically recognised. An antenna for Bluetooth transmission is integrated.
The Casambi module can also be controlled via existing light switches if the mobile phone is not available. The light can be switched on with the wall switch. Briefly switching the light off and on again dims it up. Briefly switching the light off and on again at the desired dimming level saves the current brightness. The device is short-circuit protected. Due to its compact size, the Casambi module can be easily installed behind wall switches and in lamp housings, canopies, ceiling boxes. It is 4.04 cm long, 3.63 cm wide and 1.4 cm high.
Maximum power for mains voltage LEDs and incandescent lamps: 150 W
and for LEDs with power supply unit, retrofit LEDs or halogen lamps: 50 W
