Ingo Maurer Samurai

The Ingo Maurer Samurai is a table light, in which every exemplar is unique, since the lampshade is always elaborately crafted. The lampshade is brought into its final shape by pulling and folding. The table lamp emits the light uniformly into the room. On the supply cable with a length of 350 cm, a sliding regulator for a continuous dimming of the light is placed. Ingo Maurer, Dagmar Mombach and Maurer's team were inspired by the works of the Japanese sculptor Isamu Noguchi and then designed a series of lamps called the MaMo Nouchies. In addition to the Samurai, these include the Con Qui, the Jimken, the Kokoro and the Poul Poul.
