Ingo Maurer Ilios 
The Ingo Maurer Ilios is a floor lamp with a height of 190 cm as well as a width of 28 cm at the highest point. It consists of two flexible stainless steel rods which hold a round, white satin glass disc. Behind the opal glass the illuminant is hidden. The Ilios is held by a lamp base with a fluorescent red insulation wedge. The two colour versions black and silver are offered for the floor lamp. In these colors, the stainless steel rods are painted. The lamp emits its light glare-free indirectly to the wall behind the floor lamp. Both versions have a cord dimmer with slider for light intensity control. The square lamp base has a width as well as a length of 18 cm each. In collaboration with Franz Ringelhan, Ingo Maurer designed the floor lamps already in the year 1983. In the past, the lamp was also offered in a second version with an electronic transformer-sensor dimmer TouchTronic.
